Some are filled with delicious things, from custards to fruits to chocolate sauce; many are properly lacking a center, making them glazed, delicious rings of dough. Sprinkles can be found in some boxes, but not others, and also: he may have gone overboard.
These are delivered by handsome Moon Knights who look amused and perplexed, Shen Qingqiu reporting in at Lunar Scientia for a research stint as soon as he returned. Written on a note is: ]

Fancy and expensive, are they? He certainly remembers the days when that was true in his own universe. Well, he's hardly going to say no to the offered gift. [ konoha! seriously! he was already going to give her a proper gift come the new year, but it feels all the more important with her generosity and kindness, along with gonta's. she's one of the people he feels most relaxed around here in this crazy city, and he likes the feeling of a pseudo family. he misses the found one he has back home.
he drops the gift off and then oh-so-slyly jogs away, because he didn't want to pay the cost of shipping all the foodstuffs he's found and gone out to buy over the last few days since returning to the city. there's a basket overflowing with holiday treats, many of them freshly baked or picked, some candies like peppermint bark buried in a section, popped corn, a carefully packaged cut of delicious, delicious beef. there's also some honey: one of the local bee keepers had a cute holiday label that he thought his sister might have liked, and so it ends up in konoha and gonta's rather oversized basket.
