[Well, if any feature at all would give away one of the manna donors for that bairn...]
Zagreus, hello...
[Konoha answers with... completely the opposite vibe. She's outside in the shade of a tree, with two bairns that look almost like twins sleeping in the cradle of a curled foreleg, little infant jinba woven of moss and bark with little horns on their foreheads and leafy wings tucked along their spines. Not quite fully in the frame, both snuffle and snore, nuzzling into their "mother"'s bay coat.]
Of course you can ask- Has it been crying, or is it just being fussy?
[ She doesn't respond all too positively, as Zagreus tries to take her tiny little hand in his, instead letting out a coarse whine, trying to push him away with all the strength of an infant. ]
[The problem? with these manna bairns is that... they're made of plant, in the end, they bend and squish rather than break or bleed so it's not the same sort of obvious signs, but...]
If it's- If she's hurt, there should be some sort of bruising or sign... but she could have an upset stomach...
[She does... assume he's been feeding it, she has that much faith, so skipping "hungry" and starting there-]
[ Please, have pity on him, he's new to this; he looks a bit like a deer in headlights. ]
Well, I gave her a bit of... what's it called again? It's a dough with a tangy sauce and cheese and various meats on top. Can't get enough of it myself, and she seemed to like it well enough, too.
[A true survivalist at her core, used to mountain living... She doesn't see the issue...]
Humans eat birds and rabbits all the time, and that's meat... it's fine as long as it's not a person. I've been feeding mine porridge and steamed vegetables mostly.

You don't think I've hurt her somehow, have I?

P... izza? Just pizza?

[ A pause. ]
Was that... not the right thing? I just presumed she wouldn't eat it, if it weren't agreeable for her.

[That's... where she'll start...]
I mean, pizza is food, but... It's not that healthy as the only food...

[ See aforementioned child repeatedly trying to eat her own hands and feet. Especially the latter. ]
What should I feed her, then? We've some vegetables, I could try that, but it feels a bit strange, don't you think?
[ Given how plant-like the bairns are... ]

[ Honestly, he will defer to her knowledge. Zagreus barely knows how to take care of himself, let alone a child. ]
I'm sure we must have a vegetable around here somewhere, then. I'll try that.
Thank you so much, your support is invaluable to me. If there's anything I can do for you in return, don't hesitate to send me a message.

[She tries to assure at least that she wouldn't steer him wrong on this, at least, not purposefully.]
If you don't have any, you can come take some from my garden. I've been practicing Emerald powers on it, we have plenty.
And I'll remember it... Mmm. I will.
