Noctium Application
- « PLAYER INFORMATION »
Name: Rizu
Are you over 18?: Y
Contact:
Other characters, if any: N/A
« CHARACTER INFORMATION »
Character: Konoha
Canon: JINBA
Canon point: post-canon + post-Prismatica
OU or AU?: CRAU from Prismatica
Age: not stated in canon, but she is considered a mature adult by her species and culture so I go with 20-25
Species: Centaur
AU clarification: Konoha is a CRAU from Prismatica. Her time in game did not actually cause any substantial changes in her personality, though she now knows basics about modern technology, deals with fancy magical and metal things without freaking out as badly as she used to, learned about some other cultures and species, and has become more accepting of non-17th-century-Japan sexual practices.

Disposition: Konoha is, thanks to the efforts of her parents and the luck of the era she was born into, somewhat innocent and cheerful in comparison to many of the characters in JINBA. She's somewhat uncomplicated when it comes to her thought processes, never having been formally educated nor in much need of challenging herself mentally over puzzles or moral dilemma, but she's not particularly bothered by her simplicity, either. She finds happiness in family, a full belly, and a job well done, and her ambitions for her life and future are realistic and somewhat unambitious- to work and to provide for her family.
Having been born at the end of wars, she's quite aware that she's lucky to have escaped the days in which jinba were treated far more harshly than they are now. Having lost her birth parents at a young age did make her somewhat resilient, though, even with her human parents' pampering, and Konoha seems to consider it her duty to in turn be a good daughter and cheerful girl. She's almost always smiling, ready to laugh, and eager to please or show kindness, and her human mother's well-meaning busybody nature has obviously rubbed off on her adopted daughter. If she can help someone, she will, and if she can invite them home to dinner with her family, then why not! She also tries her hand at advice when she can, but her rather simple approaches to things often gets her laughed at... (Though she sometimes does actually help when it comes to problems that really just need to be boiled down to their most basic elements to be solved!)
As part of being raised in a more loving home, and being rather casual and simple about things herself, Konoha is quite free with affection by the standards of her era, ready with a pat on the back, a hug, or a helping hand. When she's comfortable, Konoha is chatty and excitable, rather open and always one to speak her mind rather than beat about the bush, whether that means expressing her emotions or lecturing someone. She talks to herself a lot, too. Expressing things out loud helps, doesn't it? (However, even though she prefers honesty and open communication, she will suffer in silence if she comes to the conclusion that speaking up will hurt someone else's feelings without purpose or push undue burden on them.)
Konoha takes work and duties entrusted to her very seriously, partly out of an earnest nature, and partly out of desire to support her family and not disappoint those who rely on her. When in a work environment she is very capable, and can work beside rough and tumble human laborers years her senior with little issue, the type to take on a somewhat energetic, bossy little sister role. She can be somewhat hurt by prejudice against her kind or rude behavior, but she's capable of sublimating such emotions in order to get a job done.
Under pressure: Konoha does show a degree of immaturity or innocence on occasion, particularly when she encounters the unexpected or instances of violence. Despite her general sunny disposition, she can be reduced to tears by the things that affect any young woman who didn't grow up a hardened soldier. First heartbreak... being chased by wolves... struggling with some weird "light bulb" thing... being kidnapped to other worlds... It's honestly not difficult at all to make her cry, but when it's a high pressure situation the weeping can turn paralyzing.
She has a lot of patience in general, but in the panic of stress or fear she is capable of snapping, turning tail and running, or even accidentally hurting someone- though this would definitely be an accident caused by her naturally advanced strength, she doesn't have a violent bone in her body outside of protecting... and even then, she's more likely to grab and run than fight.
When it comes to adapting to the setting, she would normally have a very difficult time adapting. However, since she is a CRAU from Prismatica, she thankfully doesn't need to re-learn technology basics like what electricity, phones, and trams are. The lessened culture shock will help, but she will probably struggle with despair and feeling cursed to be taken multiple times, and to be separated from her husband and small child. Thankfully, she is used to self-motivating and being being the force of positivity for others, so she will be driven to force herself to eventually stop being sad and accept her fate, to find a way to be productive and survive in Noctium while she has to.
Condition upon arrival: Konoha will arrive in perfect physical health, if not a little sleep deprived from handling a breast-feeding three month old baby jinba.
Abilities: Absolutely none of a magical or technological nature. As a centaur though, she is physically much stronger than a human woman of comparative size to her top half would be, capable of lifting a man off his feet with one hand, or of carrying hundreds of pounds on her equine back. As a stockier, draft breed example of her species, she is stronger than she is fast, but is still far faster than a human. As negative consequences of her anatomy, however, she is not capable of laying down on her side for a long period of time and it is an exceedingly difficult and lengthy recovery should she suffer leg injuries. It is also implied that jinba are at least somewhat affected by the breeding seasons that rule the reproduction of their more fully equine cousins.
