Hehe, Inosuke would be a nightmare as Sanguis... or maybe not? Gonta is Sanguis, but mostly I just keep him on the farm and let him be territorial and everything there... and since Mikuni is here they can spar if he feels like fighting.

[Konoha had never known a sibling. The elderly couple that took her in had lost all their natural children to war and sickness before her. Once she'd found out from her adopted parents the circumstances of her birth, she wondered if maybe she didn't have a half-sibling out there, maybe more than one, born into breeding stables and unknown to her even if she were to pass them in the street...

But she thinks it would be kind of like this.

So she laughs as she sinks into the water, laying on her side to get in up to her shoulders, leaning an elbow on the rock-lined side and propping her cheek on her palm.]

It's fine... If it had been what I was afraid it might be, then actually, I hope you would tell me... or at least someone, though, okay?

[Because he said "disappointing sexual experience" but he's also Tanjiro, and for just half a second she'd been a bit concerned he was glossing over something that might have been worse.]

[He mimics her pose a bit, hooking his bum arm into the elbow of his other by the hand and leaning on smushing up his cheek with his good hand, elbow on some rocks just below the surface of the water. He's not entirely sure what she's getting at by what she was afraid it might be, but it doesn't matter overmuch.]

I think I tell you a lot more than I tell most people, actually. [His tone is... almost lofty, because it's a strange thing to realize. He's not secretive on purpose, he just doesn't like to burden people with his thoughts or problems, but his friendship with Konoha has just... always been easy and open.]

[Look, she just worried that maybe someone had tried to take advantage of him... he was really kind, and not everyone in Lunatia was nice! Or as respectful about... body things...

She feels so happy when she hears that, though, her smile touched with emotion.]

Really... ?

[That's not a real question, he wouldn't say it if it wasn't true, but- her smile turns a little teasing at the very end.]

I think... Tanjiro and I are kind of similar in a lot of ways. Except for the being a crabby Sanguis part.

[That's sweet, Konoha. ...honestly, if someone ever took advantage of him he probably wouldn't read it as such and wouldn't tell anyone, which is dangerous in and of itself, but thankfully for as kind as he is he's pretty solid on boundaries.]

[He hums wordlessly, and then laughs.]

I can only hope this doesn't become my new normal. Hungry and eating most of a few days was annoying, but tolerable. This... This I really don't like.

I heard a lot of people hate Iris... I think Sanguis is the second most not-favorite...

[Wait, was what a word? Anyway-]

I guess because of the aggressive part, but... if there's anyone I trust with that, it's Tanjiro! I'm sure you'll be able to sort things out with this friend of yours once the moons are over.

[He laughs, nodding.]

I can believe that, but I think it's maybe easier to just say people only really seem to like Cordis.

[He leans on his arms and smiles, probably more sincerely than he has all evening.] ...thank you, Konoha, really.

Mmm, yeah, that’s easier.

[She’ll admit that, relaxing into the hot water with a sigh.

Baths really wee nice before bed...]

You’re welcome... and if you ever have another frustrating thing, well... you can always ask me, and I’ll tell you something so embarrassing you’ll forget all about it!

[He laughs, and his lower half curls toward the rocks, tail slowly moseying its way toward him and coiling itself into a series of loops beside him.]
