[ Sometime around July 20th, a gift basket will arrive at the Tsurugi Farmstead. Specifically, it is a fruit basket, and even more specifically a basket of apples. They are not the conventional kind, however: these apples are golden in colour, almost shimmery, and when bitten into they explode into a delicate, fragrant sweetness that melts on the tongue. In large quantities, they will cause a pleasant buzz, similar to strong alcohol.

The attached card is addressed to Konoha. Its handwritten cursive missive reads as follows:

When we spoke, you told me that it was possible for my wife and I to be reunited; scarcely a day later, she arrived in Lunatia. I cannot help but feel that your well-wishes on the matter were not without effect, and for this I am immeasurably grateful.

She struggles to read the card, not familiar with cursive (or, how cursive in his language magically translate to cursive in her own), but a call to her teacher later and... a message pings on Cardan's network device.]
