That's not the point of a "Welcome back, Lord Sesshomaru" banquet!
[Gently chastising, Konoha can't help but laugh a little bit at the idea that he could turn such a thing into a part for her somehow, waving a hand in dismissal of needing spoiling.]
[Technically, she supposed she couldn't tell a man what not to do about his own banquet... Still, that seemed like it completely missed the intended mark! Flustering a bit, she scratches behind an ear a bit self-consciously.]
R- Right... Gonta already spoils me all the time... and all my friends here are so nice... I don't need anymore spoiling, or it'll all go to my head or something...
[Not having expected the gesture, Konoha blinks a few times in surprise before her expression softens again, all too easily moved to shows of emotionality. She often tried to keep such things in check around Sesshomaru, feeling that more overt shows of such things made him somewhat uncomfortable (which just came out as disdain, if you asked her!).
But how is she supposed to not get teary-eyed over that when he'd just shown back up when she'd resigned herself to never seeing him again?
She tries to laugh instead of cry, though, her smile shaky and soft.]
I think it's already going to my head... right now, actually...
[ It tugs at his heart to see tears start to form again in her eyes. He breathes in a little too sharp --
-- but at her laugh, at seeing her weak and shaky smile, he tightens his hold on her hand.
His eyes close before he drops his head down to rest his forehead lightly against the knuckles of her hand. Even if he is not at fault, even if it is an outside force that drags him away, he still offers his apologies to her. Because someone should apologize.
But aloud, he says: ]
I am glad. I'm glad that it has gone to your head. [ And he lifts his own head up to offer her a small smile. It is there and gone within a few seconds, but it was there. ]
He smiled. It's such a small, fleeting expression, and maybe someone who didn't know better would be disappointed in the strength of the reaction, wanting for more... but to Konoha, it means the world.
She reaches up to wipe the threat of tears out of her eyes with her free hand, squeezing his back in turn while her smile grows in strength, returns to the sunny and bright appearance she was known for.]
... Welcome back, Lord Sesshomaru.
[No matter the method or meaning... She was content enough to just be glad to see him again. For however long she could.]

And I'm plenty spoiled already!

[ He can be a little stubborn about what he wants his party to be about, and if it is about spoiling Konoha, then that is good. ]
Hm? You mean that you're spoiled enough by your husband? [ That puts a few points of goodwill to Gonta. ]

[ Sesshomaru starts to say before he reaches out to gently take her hand in his once more. ]
It would be all right if you let yourself be spoiled enough that it went to your head.
